Google tailors your search results so I think if you frequently google NG related stuff it'll be more likely to appear
actually there's a whole thread on twitter from the funkin' creator about newgrounds being blacklisted from the first page results
Plus if you just type "Friday Night Funkin Newgrounds" it'll be furst result
yeah of course, but not without it.
While Google IS shitty and DOES mess with results AND has a history of blacklisting NG... I searched it on DuckDuckGo as well at they are in about the same ranking.
ugh I just googled FNF and here(brazil) the NG link is on the fourth page. you get some shitty yt playthoughs with kids, and a bunch of bootleg downloads before even getting the itch page.

I think is because google rank the most popular and used websites like itch and even google play itself, Newgrounds wasn't in a very good rank because of how the website and the Web Games aged after time
The Newgrounds version is the seventh result when I look up "Friday Night Funkin'" on Google, though it might just be me looking up Newgrounds on Google all the time affecting it.
Damn you're right. At least the first result is ninjamuffin's itch.io page though. Still though, it's fucking stupid that NG wouldn't be on the first page.
